DONORS FORUM
Donors would provide funds, equipment and collection of books. At a later stage, donation of space will also be encouraged. To become donor, one has to first register in the RATNAKAR BROTHERHOOD. This can be done by filling up the form below. Any contribution is welcome. It is expected, that donors of of books would prepare a bibliography before sending in the proposal. VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are needed to perform the physical task of making elctronic files out of printed books and publications. This work force would comprise of people who are computer literate and have the desire to devote time for the purpose. It is expected that one person should commit to digitize at least one book of about 300 pages, in next one years time. Those having busier schedules may opt for doing the same amount of work with the help of a group of friends. Anyway, if you have the will, please fill up the form below and proceed.

There were numerous Bhasa Sanmelans, Sahitya sanmelans in various parts of the country. These are the groups where many like minded people meet for some work related to Bangla Sahityo. Then there are small groups of poets, organisers of little magazines, association of scribes and the like. All these organisations have many knowledgeable people who could provide invaluable help in building the RATNAKAR Digital Archive. PUBLISHERS
Publishers of Bengali books are expected to play very important role in building the RATNAKAR digital archives. Scores of publishers are printing new editions of bengali classics and other creations which are now beyond the purview of the copyright act. These could be offered to RATNAKAR in ready digital format. If the publishers collectively agree, then a system of archiving can be adopted, where all publishers will post their books which would go public, after expiry of a certain period. NEWSPAPERS
Newspapers have the highest degree of influence on the entire population. What they preach becomes way of life. What they teach is immediately accepted by the readers. For success of the RATNAKAR endeavour, effective help from newspapers and their employees are crucial. Newspapers are a treasure house of literature, by far the biggest assembly of writer community and most organised publishing houses of the region. Their surplus resources can be harnessed to add great mileage to the efforts of building the RATNAKAR digital archive. Newspapers, offcourse, are business enterprises and only they can decide whether to help build RATNAKAR archives or not. It is also their prerogative to decide the extent and the tinings.
